preparation of water and gas sources before tank construction:
(a) the water source is supplied directly from pvc. the water supply pressure (capping pressure) shall reach 0.5mpa and the flow shall be 70 ~ 150m ³/ h。
matters needing attention:
◇ it is necessary to directly raise the pipeline pressure to the pressure and flow of water for pressure test of storage tank through pipeline pump at the pvc source.
◇ the pipe support of the formal pipeline from the plant battery limit to the storage tank and the valves at the discharge point shall be installed.
◇ the temporary water inlet pipe from the water source to the tank top has been laid.
◇ install a water inlet control 6 "stop valve and a pressure gauge at the water source.
◇ quality of test water
it shall be clean and clear.
there shall be no odor (i.e. no hydrogen sulfide).
the ph value shall be 6 ~ 8.3.
the water temperature shall be lower than 48 ℃.
the chloride content in the water shall be less than 25 ppm.
(b) the air source is directly supplied by air compressor.
matters needing attention:
◇ the temporary air supply pipeline from the compressor to the storage tank has been laid.
◇ install a stop valve and a pressure gauge at the outlet of the compressor.
◇ the compressed air used for the test must be oil-free.
(c) preparation of drainage facilities
two schemes are prepared for drainage facilities, with three pumps in total. according to the actual situation, the three pumps can work at the same time (see the figure below).
◇ place two high-power submersible pumps in the inner tank with a flow of 100m ³/ h. the drain pipe is connected from the tank top inlet hole.
◇ connect a temporary pipeline from the water inlet of the capping to the low point of the tank bottom, and set a 4kw at the low point with a flow of 100m ³/ h one centrifugal pump, which is also used for drainage and vacuum pumping during vacuum test.
