arc striking and test current on weldments are strictly prohibited, and arc striking plates shall be set
welding process requirements:
welding shall be carried out in strict accordance with the welding process instruction and welding process qualification.
arc striking is not allowed on the surface of weldment, and there shall be no arc scratch and other defects on the surface of weldment.
during welding, the quality of arc starting and arc stopping shall be ensured. during arc stopping, the arc pit shall be filled, and the interlayer joints of multi-layer welding shall be staggered from each other.
during stainless steel welding, protective paste, chalk powder or lime powder shall be coated within 50mm on both sides of the welded junction to prevent fusion spatter from damaging the material surface.
after welding, the slag on the weld surface and nearby spatter shall be cleaned in time.
